Nebraska Feature Fossils

Every few months we'll be highlighting a new or significant fossil discovery from Nebraska. Virtually every vertebrate fossil collected by the Museum's staff or volunteer amateurs is scientifically important, but a few are also remarkably fascinating on a more popular level. Through these Feature Fossil pages we hope to share with you the thrill of discovery and at least a little insight into the scientific principles and processes of paleontologic research.
