Valentina is pursuing a PhD at the Centro Iberoamericano de la Biodiversidad, University of Alicante, Spain, where she conducts research on the systematics and phylogeny of Neotropical Anomalini (Rutelidae), in particular with the genus Anomala and Callistethus. She graduated in Evolutionary Biology with a thesis on larval morphology of species from Ecuador, whereas now she's dealing with Costa Rican biodiversity. |
