Dr. Dechambre is a specialist
of the Dynastinae of the world, and he has published numerous
papers on this group. He maintains a very large, extremely well-curated
collection of Dynastinae, which is among the most taxonomically
complete in the world. He is now retired from his position as
a Coleoptera curator at the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle
in Paris, but he continues to be active with his scarab research.
