I am an amateur entomologist and have been interested in the study of Scarabaeinae since my teen years. More recently, I have been involved in the “Association Catharsius”, a group of entomologists based mostly in Europe. We are working toward the publication of a West African Fauna of Scarabaeinae. In addition, I continue revising New World genera such as Dichotomius and looking at a revised classification of Scarabaeinae with Fernando Vaz de Mello in Brazil and revising Dendropaemon with Patrick Arnaud in France.
