Anderson Puker

Anderson Puker is a Ph.D. student in Entomology at the Federal University of Viçosa (Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil) working under the guidance of Dr. Cristiano Lopes-Andrade. For his doctorate, he is reviewing two scarab taxa: Cyclidius MacLeay (Cetoniinae) and Incaini (Trichiinae). He is also conducting studies on the biology and describing the immature stages of some myrmecophilous and termitophilous Cetoniinae and carpophilous Trichiinae from the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. He’s interested in the biology, ecology, behavior, and systematics of Scarabaeoidea as a whole but particularly the Neotropical Scarabaeidae.
