Alberto is currently starting his Ph.D. program at the Universidad de Guadalajara  (Mexico) with Dr. Jose Luis Navarrete. His dissertation will involve biology, phylogeography, and cladistics of Cotinis mutabilis (G. & P.). He is also interested in all groups of Lamellicorn Beetles.
