Nature Reconstruction

The University of Nebraska State Museum's Hall of Nebraska Wildlife, a gallery of 16 dioramas depicting scenes from across the state, is currently being renovated. The re-design of the dioramas as touchable, interactive environments has allowed the exhibits staff to perfect their skills in nature reconstruction.

This snake den includes a realistic cast of a rattlesnake. The snake was produced by exhibit staff from a real specimen.
